Since the introduction in the 1960s, breast implants have become an immediate solution for many women who are dissatisfied with their breasts. Driven by the testimony of bright stars, fashion icons and celebrities who have received breast implants, the industry has advanced by leaps and bounds, mainly due to the insecurities and fears of women with small breasts.
The National Research Center for Women and Families reported that over 100,000 American women and teenagers underwent breast implant surgery in 1997. This number has tripled in 2005 over 360,000 women undergoing the procedure.

In 2004 alone, over 50,000 implants reported expulsion procedures.
But the worst is yet to come. The FDA added that removing breast implants may also cause changes in the adverse and irreversible, such as wrinkles, cellulite, wrinkles and loss of breast tissue. To date, the outstanding security issues and long term risks of breast implants are unknown due to lack of scientific studies.
